It’s important to backup your account in case you lose your device, or need to access your account on a new phone. To back up your account:
- Log/Sign in to your Yoti app and click on More tab > Settings
- Select "Account settings" and click "My recovery file"
You only need to backup your account once, so if you've made any changes to your account such as adding an ID document, it will automatically override your previous backup as indicated by the date/time changes.
